       IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING S.J. BYRNE’s CARPET CLEANING SERVICE – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:    

  • Additional costs may apply for any rooms with a floor area greater than 16 square metres (per room).

  • To achieve the best possible results, S.J. Byrne undertakes a three step cleaning process, which includes the use of Pre-Sprays, Spotters and Water Extraction (Steam Cleaning). Whilst every attempt will be made to remove spotting from the carpet during the normal cleaning process, stains will require specialty treatment.

  • Specialised stain removal involves the removal of both acid and alkali base stains (cordials, foods, beverages, vomit, blood, etc). The removal of these is not part of the normal cleaning process, but an additional service is available (at an additional fee) if requested by the client.

  • Due to the complex chemical nature of stains and the effects of previous stain removal procedures, some stains may be permanent.

  • Chemicals used during the cleaning process can be extremely slippery. Please ensure you remain off the carpeted areas during and after cleaning (until carpet area is completely dry). No liability will be accepted (by S.J. Byrne) should these important safety directions be ignored. Please ensure any person entering the premises (during or after the carpet cleaning process) are aware of these important safety instructions.

  • Total Job Costs noted are based on the information that you have provided. Should the information provided not be accurate, additional charges my apply.

  • Floor rug costs are based on a standard size floor rug of 3m x 2m - additional costs may apply for floor rugs greater than this size.

  • By submitting your online booking form, you are making a booking with our business, and all fees associated with our service will be due and payable at the time of the appointment. Should you not provide at least 24 hours notice for booking changes or cancellations, full costs will be incurred. Any outstanding payments will be charged an additional $10.00 per day until the outstanding amount (including late fees) are paid in full.

  • Due to water used during the cleaning process, please ensure any items that can be affected by water are covered and / or removed. The removal and covering of these items is not part of our processes, and is the responsibility of the client. No liability will be accepted by S.J. Byrne should any items be damaged as a result of the client's failure to take all precautionary measures.

  • We do not work on an accounts basis - all work must be paid for in cash at the time of appointment. Payments by Direct Deposit and Credit Card are available, however these payments are required to be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. Please advise if you require these payment options at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. A 5% credit card transaction & processing fee applies to all Credit Card transactions. Should 48 hours notification not be given, payment must be made in cash at the time of the appointment.

  • Upon receipt of your online booking form, we will process your booking details and forward a booking confirmation to you (by email). Your booking confirmation will provide you with all information regarding your carpet cleaning appointment (including an approximate commencement time). Whilst every effort will be made to meet our scheduled appointment times, unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances and delays can occur. In the event that the day's timetable is not running to schedule, we will contact you (on the phone number you have provided) to advise of an alternate approximate commencement time.

  • Please ensure the phone number provided is correct, and you are reachable on this number on the day of your appointment. If you do not provide a contactable phone number, and we cannot confirm site information with you, full job costs will be incurred. 

  • In the event that you wish to cancel or change an appointment time, 24 hours notice is required. We require this notice to be given by phone only. If the specified notice is not received, full payment will be incurred by the client.
